Highly recommended, being broke down on I-65 south with my elderly mother they picked us up with in 30 min. The owner personally drove out to picked my mother and myself up, my husband stayed and went with the wrecker towing him to the mechanic. Going out of way to pick us up drove us to our home with no extra charge. Very accommodating and nice. Thank you Side’s for taking such great interest and care the extra customer service and support you and your company provided us. We can’t recommend you enough for the personal accommodative care you provide.

I just moved to Alabama. Locked my three dogs in the cab of the uhaul. I was in a panic! Called Self's and it took 20 minutes to get to me. The driver talked to my dogs the whole time he worked at getting the door open. It took him all of 10 minutes! He was very professional! Definitely recommend this company!

I was carrying my wife to get a MRI done and someone lost a about a10” log off there truck and it punched a huge hole in my tire with no spare tire the came out and tried to get a tire for it but the tire store had nothing and the guy was going to toe my car for free but he found me a tire and put it on and wouldn’t let me pay for nothing.God puts people out there like this guy I believe he name was Johnathan I just can’t think him enough and the lady Katie that was there also was tremendous help

Pretty sorry establishment to try and keep an old woman's personal belongings, because she couldn't afford the several hundred dollar tow bill. It's almost christmas, and they had the audacity to act like that. Her drivers license, and bank cards were all in the car. She just wanted the personal belongings from the vehicle. I wont leave a bad review, simply because as a fellow buisness owner I unfortunately know how these "stars" can affect your buisness. But as a human being, I will say I'm ashamed to see how you treated her. It took her leaving a bad review, for you to finally give her the belongings if she removed her review.

After having a blow out on 65, I called Cadillac Roadside Service . They contracted a different towing company & 3 hours later that company had not arrived. After 6 phone calls back to roadside service I was losing my marbles with Roadside service and the contracted towing company, I called Justin while on the phone with Roadside service and had them move the service call to Self’s Towing regardless of the fact that Self’s wasn’t contracted through them . Justin verified payment while on the phone & immediately sent someone out . Less than 30 mins later & I was finally towed to the dealership thanks to Self’s Towing. HIGHLY recommend Self’s for all your towing needs !

Our truck broke down in Athens this morning so we called Self’s Wrecker. The lady that answered could not have been nicer, which was very helpful since we were having a tough morning. The driver, let me just say he was absolutely the BEST! He was so friendly, helpful and made the situation much easier to deal with. I can’t remember his name, but he was on call for the Hwy 72 / I-65 area in Athens (for his employers reference). If you need a good tow company, please consider Self’s Wrecker. Price was comparable to competitors in Athens, but for us, the customer service set them apart this morning!

I cannot say enough good things about Self’s Wrecker service. My SUV had to be towed from Redstone Arsenal which is a pain dealing with access to the base. Melissa rode with her driver to make sure they were able to get on base with no trouble and on time! They were excellent and I will never use anyone else!

Melissa and her team were great to work with! I had someone broken down on the side of the road somewhere between Alabama and St. Louis. They were able to help me locate him on the interstate and get him safely to an auto repair shop and even helped me find a hotel that would be close by so that they could drop him off (late on a Sunday night). Excellent customer service and a really fair price. Would definitely recommend them!

Fastest service I have ever had. Simple jump off but they came to me late in the evening in the middle of town at a closed gas station. Owners are the sweetest people as well. All around reliable and reputable in every way. Amazing staff. Can’t go wrong with Selfs Wrecker service!!!

Rocks came off one of their trucks on the interstate and cracked our windshield. We called them and they told us they would have it taken care of. Very pleasant people to work with.They called Oden’s Auto Glass and had them replace it.

Great service. The guy who picked up our boat after a blowout on the trailer was fantastic!!! He was extremely helpful and had a great attitude. He helped make a bad day better. Thankful no one was hurt and all we had was a boat that needed to be towed.

When I say I had a tow truck out between 15 and 30 minutes! I work in insurance and do a lot of emergency roadside claims! This was by far one of the easiest, quickest, and customer friendly places I have ever dealt with! He had the car loaded up and ready to be towed in about 10 minutes flat. I was so impressed with their service. I would highly recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to spend two hours on the side of the road!

A terrific option for local transport if you can't get a buddy to get a trailer out to you. Can't recommend enough.

Not all heros wear capes sometimes they drive a tow truck! Monday morning…battery dead and list a mile long of stuff that needs done. I called in an absolute panic! The office was not just kind but soothing! Honestly if Melissa wants to change careers she should look into hostage negotiation . She is that calming!! She promised to get someone to me as fast as possible. In no time Philip pulled into our driveway. He was fast, helpful, and professional!!! So fast it would make your head spin my car was back on the road. And the cost was less than I was expecting with AMAZING service!!! We will never I mean NEVER call another wrecker service! Y’all are totally my heros of the day!! Gold stars for everyone!!!
